Gili Renggit 4 unique South Lombok dive sites!
On the east side of Gili Renggit is the South Lombok dives site “Batu Putih”. This is the place to explore for macro life. Foremost you are surrounded by shrimps, ghost pipefish and glassfish. Then you dive along a slope lined with soft coral. Foremost feather stars. Also not to forget, diving “The Harbour”. Here is the spot to find turtles and batfish. Or maybe blue spotted rays and cuttlefish. Bets of all, end your dive amid a huge swarm of juvenile sardines!
Another favorite among the Souht Lombok dive sites. The spectacular west side of Gili Renggit, “Pantai Batu”. Foremost offering a abundance of hard coral. Not to forget a fascinating stag horn coral garden. in the shallows at the end of the dive. Then also “Wave Corner” is a South Lombok dive sites that’s a “must see”. Not only does it offer rare species for the macro fan! The corals are populated with nudibranchs. Moreover, here we also find hairy frogfish. But also ornate ghost pipefish and many colorful shrimps.

Stairs to Medang
One of the deeper South Lombok dive sites. Here it terraces down from 14m to about 35m. Therefore you can find a fascinating underwater landscape. This is the place to experience the Indo Pacific at its best. We’ve seen mantas and different species of sharks. Also plenty of lively schooling reef fish in all colors and sizes. Then, toward the end of your dive, you’ll return to the top of the colorful plateau. Having arrived here it’s not uncommon to run into turtles. Or maybe find lobster in the crevices of the boomies.
Lighthouse
Another South Lombok dive site for the more avid diver. After reaching around 16 meters on the slowly descending plateau we find landslide similar terrain. Then, as we dive along this breakage, we are accompanied by emperor fish, big groupers and surgeon fish. Afterwards the dive leads into a deeply gorging valley lined by heavy, massive coral formations. Once in the valley we find white tip reef sharks, schooling mackerel and sweet lips.
