The lodge is made up of comfortable, tastefully furnished Teakwood Bungalows. 2 free-standing with queen size beds, and 2 with a double and a triple room. The terrace invites to enjoy a relaxed post dive evening, and the bay offers pristine beaches for swimming and relaxing!
Around the rather remote bay of Belongas you'll find the dive sites "The Magnet" and "The Cathedral", where the seasonable sighting of schooling barracudas, tunas, and other pelagic life is fairly regular. Apart from the mobula ray season in September, hammerheads like to school around the Magnet in June until early November. We offer diving as individual experiences at exclusive, new dive sites around our pristine coastline, and also offer special day trips with the chance to go exploring in undiscovered waters to find untouched and amazing dive sites. Scuba diving in south-west Lombok means the chances of seeing turtles and white tip reef sharks are fairly high, and you're likely to sight blue spotted stingrays, cuttlefish, scorpion fish and more while diving in the waters of South Lombok. During our "exploration dives" we undertake exciting and interesting day trips around the south coast of Lombok and enjoy the fascinating coastline and colourful reefs on the way. We offer individual and special interest dive experiences such as photography dives, and also plan individual dive days for smaller and larger groups. We plan our dive excursions together with our guests, so that we can fulfill individual dive expectations.

Welcome to our small traveller resort Desert Point Lodges in the beautiful Southwest of Lombok. Besides the main touristic areas, such as the Gili islands and Senggigi, Lombok has way more to offer. Get off the beaten path and enjoy the authentic Indonesian way of life in the Sekotong area.
Desert Point Lodge is located in a pretty remote area between the world famous Bangko Bangko wave (Desert Point) and the small Pelangan village. If you're in search of excellent scuba diving, 10 second barrels, local culture, the amazing underwater life or a stress-free environment: you've found the right place!
The four bungalows are traditionally built in Sasak style, made from wood. Two of the bungalows have a king-size bed, the other two bungalows are equipped with two separate beds. There is a closet for your clothes, a fan at the 6 metre high ceiling, a bathroom with shower and a western toilet. Outside the bungalow you'll find a nice veranda where you can relax and count your blessings. If you want to stay with more people in one bungalow, no problem! We just put an extra mattress in there!
Near the beachfront you'll find our small restaurant where you can enjoy local dishes for modest prices. And local here means fresh fish, delicious fruit and the best rice in town. Feeling a bit homesick? You can also ask for a pancake, French fries, toast or a Coca Cola!
