As the sea is fairly shallow, visibility is never crystal clear but this doesn't affect the caliber of the dive sites. Our reefs are full of bright soft corals and colourful crinoids, harboring a amazing variety of rare marine life, ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses and more.

Scuba diving Belongas Bay the seasonable sighting of pelagic life is fairly regular. Apart from the mobula- and eagle ray season during September, hammerheads have the tendency to school around the Magnet mid June until early November.

Scuba diving Belongas Bay, or Blongas Bay, ranges from exciting to challenging "adrenalin dives" at the dive sites "The Magnet" and "The Cathedral". The seasonable sighting of schooling barracudas, tunas, and other pelagic life is fairly regular, and apart from the mobula- and eagle ray season during September, hammerheads have the tendency to sometimes school around the Magnet end June until early November.
In Belongas Bay (Blongas) you'll find an unspoiled underwater paradise with pristine reefs, an intact environment, and impressive diving with huge marine diversity!
Belongas Bay - challenging diving with big rewards!
At "The Magnet" and "The Cathedral" we oftentimes experience strong currents and rough seas, therefore please note the folloing minimum Prerequisites for diving the "Magnet" and the "Cathedral". Advanced certification as well as from May until end October 100 logged dives (from November until end April 50 logged dives).
We recommend bringing a 5mm wetsuit. The temperature is around 26C - 28C, but on "good hammerhead days" it can very well drop to 22C-25C. More detail information and recommendations around diving Belongas Bay you can find here…
The other dive sites in Belongas Bay are also suitable for the less experienced divers and wait with breathtaking coral reefs and an abundance of underwater life. Schools of mobula rays or macro paradise - here you can find it all.
To dive Blongas Bay we use our 9m fiberglass boat with two 40hp engines, and the Belongas dive sites can be reached within 15 - 25 minutes Per day there are up to 4 dives possible, at which we take a maximum of 8 divers and 2 guides onto the boat.
We do not guarantee that any particular dive site will be accessible at all times!
