Around the rather remote bay of Belongas you'll find the dive sites "The Magnet" and "The Cathedral", where the seasonable sighting of schooling barracudas, tunas, and other pelagic life is fairly regular. Apart from the mobula ray season in September, hammerheads like to school around the Magnet in June until early November. PADI Divemaster (min. 10 days)
As a dive master you are already a professional. With the
extensive knowledge and all the skills you will get in the course,
you can supervise other divers in many training ~ and dive
activities. You will plan, organize and lead dive trips. This
course is the first step on the professional career path, but also
a unique challenge for any diver interested in personal
development.
PADI Assistant Instructor (4 days)
This course was developed to give PADI Divemasters additional
qualifications as training assistants and assistant dive
instructors. After completing the Assistant Instructor course (AI)
you have already mastered the first four days of the whole IDC and
are now entitled to participate in the following OWSI (Open Water
Scuba Instructor) program. Its priority is to expand your
skills for teaching. With self-study, normal lessons and practical
applications you will learn how to give presentations and how to
conduct the PADI courses and programs. You will also get
familiar with PADI standards and procedures, the structure of the
diving industry and you will get an introduction in basic marketing
ideas, the selling philosophy and questions about risk
management.
Instructor Development Course (IDC) (AI +
OWSI)
During the IDC you will conduct theory ~, pool ~ and open water
presentations to gain experience on how to teach in theory and
practice. You will get a clearer understanding of the PADI
philosophy of continuing education and the available programs. You
will also learn important marketing strategies that you will need
for your future job. The IDC certificate of completion allows you
to take part in the two day IE (Instructor Examination).
