Around the rather remote bay of Belongas you'll find the dive sites "The Magnet" and "The Cathedral", where the seasonable sighting of schooling barracudas, tunas, and other pelagic life is fairly regular. Apart from the mobula ray season in September, hammerheads like to school around the Magnet in June until early November. I went for a few dives with DiveZone when i was in Lombok in January 2010, and all I can say is I absolutely loved it. The marine life over there is amazing, the beaches spectacular, the people super friendly, and the crew at DiveZone were a pleasure to deal with... in fact I spent a bunch of time just hanging out at the shop in Kuta when the weather was rainy, which was always really good fun.
I loved it so much I decided to go back to Kuta and do my PADI Divemaster internship there. George has been incredibly helpful in helping me get it all organised, and I can't wait to touch down there on 1 July for lots of diving, learning and enjoying the island lifestyle. Come join me!! :)

do you have a course for open water diving in those period?
or is there any other ways I can enjoy diving over there?
perhaps, scuba diver course(2 days) or preview diving course?

This is what diving is about,I come from australia so we have some of the best,even though visability had been restricied a bit as there had been a big swell on the previous couple of days but everything else was great,the dive crew and masters couldn't have been more friendly or helpfull,as I arrived on a cruise ship they had someone waiting for me,the drive there gave me a bit of a look around the island then the team and other divers reflected the layback friendly nature you look for.
Also as my partner doesn't dive and only snorkels one of the crew looked after her and swam with her finding things for her.
Back to the dive ,were boyh good and saw a really good range with exception of sharks(but they saw they have some great shark dives)water was really warm even though they complained it was too cool,I was in a short suite and could have done without it.
The 2 dive masters really did what was expected of them but in a manner that reflected the island.
No hesitation to recomend and would be a great place to spend a couple of weeks

were enjoy the trip and had good travel memorize in Lombok.
Although we missed hamerhead shark, but it still a good experience for us.
Maybe we will go Lombok again to see them in next year.

Thanks again for the fantastic diving and holliday at Pearl Beach! The diving was really great and I have never seen so many corals!!! Not to forget the sharks, turtels, ghost pipe fish, frog fish, nudy branches and and and ;-)))) Please send my greetings also to Pearl Beach Resort and especially Samsul and the new cook Gusti who are doing an amazing job. I absolutely loved the banana-peanut cake...For me it was the perfect combination of a totally relaxing beautiful place above water and great fun and spectacular reefs under water. For me it was pure luxus to be able to just hope on the boat on the beach after breakfast and the DiveZone guys organized the whole rest. Also the possibility to go for fantastic snorkeling after diving in front of the resort (yeah, i still didn't have enough after two dives;-) was great. Hope to be able to come soon again!!!! Until then greet the fish from me!

What can I say....The management here are the most professional I have encountered over my years as a diver. The whole business is so well taken care of that all happens seeming-less and extremely smoothly from the day you arrive.
The diving areas are suited for absolutely every ones taste, from the thrilling and adventurous to the nice relaxing yet exciting drift away locations. to top it up, the diversity of live and quality of the coral are second to none across all dive sites.
I am a returning diver, what else can I say!! Oh, yes:I will be back!!
Just perfect! I've just get my Pady OWD with a magnificient crew, including of course Jata, the instructor.
Being my first experience underwater, I guess it was important to me feel safe and that everything were under control, so it was with Divezone!
On the other hand, the marine life was just amazing! I will never forget that at my first dive, 3 minutes later I could see a huge turtle....
